Walk nach Mitteregg & Brand

Winter hiking

Walk nach Mitteregg & Brand

Start at the western exit of Berwang to the Mooslift along the country road. From there on, the cleared and sanded winter hiking path leads to the village of Rinnen. Walk through Rinnen, past the ski lift, then take a right on the travel way at the village exit. This travel way leads through the forest and, briefly, on the less travelled country road towards Namlos. Now take a left to the “Ende der Welt” (Eng. “End of the World”), the village of Mitteregg (rest stop option at Gasthaus Wechner).

Tip: Way back on the same path or, alternatively, on the rural road to Brand (Gasthaus Bergblick), and back to Rinnen and Berwang.

Length 11.5 km | Altitude metres ascent and descent 435 m each
